Today is marred by the tragic, if not entirely unpredicted early death of the truly enigmatic, visionary Steve Jobs. He was committed and passionate about designing and developing the very best technology and absolutely changed the way we look at, and the experience we have with once percieved dull, boring hardware. He enhanced our lives immeasurably.
I remember living in Bath when his brightly coloured iMac was launched, quickly followed by more covetable colours. I bought the second generation iMac (which we still have) along with every incarnation since. Along with the iPhone and I hope, the new iPad for Christmas (please!).
