It's a sad 'day' when you can't even give away the iconic Series E chairs that a school no longer needs. Or is it...?
Dropping my daughter off at school this morning, a skip in the school yard was full of Robin Day chairs (the teeny tiny ones). The school had tried to sell them off, failed, and now they reside, sad and neglected in a nasty old skip.
The good news? We are liberating them! My gorgeous (and supremely talented artist friend Carrie) also spied them and suggested spraying them in cool colours. A triumph of an idea. And, we can use them in photoshoots for our children's interiors company, Funky Little Darlings.
Going back this afternoon to commence rustling!
