It's no secret we are massive fans of grey. Grey is great! We use it all the time in our interior projects - it is strong, graphic, deep... but, best of all, it works brilliantly with dazzling colour!
This interior, a refurb for Stuttgart advertising agency "Panama" was designed by one of my favourite architects, Ippolito Fleitz Group and is quite simply, fab. Deep graphite floors and staircases are enveloped in long, linear swathes of vibrant colour, used in blocks on walls and ceilings. Anchored by sections of neutral white and natural wood, the space is alive, inviting and exciting without been overpowering.
Try it out on some walls at home - be bold and add a few iconic designer touches... the Mies van der Rohe Barcelona chair, Sebastian Wrongs Spun lamp, a bright red Swan chair, the Wrongwoods low cabinet, an architectural cactus and temper with Farrow and Balls Down Pipe grey. Gorgeous!
