Did you know Pantone's colour of the year is Marsala? Crickey! I just don't get it. Dull, bland... and to team it with pale blue, NO! I feel depressed looking at these colours. Nothing about Marsala inspires me.
Pantone describe it as "Marsala is a subtly seductive shade, one that draws us to its embracing warmth"... er, no!
And more alarmingly "Nurturing and fulfilling" (whaaaaat?) "Marsala is a natural fit for the kitchen and dining room - making it ideal for tabletop, small appliances and linens throughout the home". I beg you, do not purchase any 'small appliances' in Marsala... you will rue the day!
Come on Pantone, with you rich library of colours, you choose this????
