British Study Centre - Oxford

We've recently completed the reception re-design for the British Study Centre, Oxford, and we are absolutely thrilled with the finished results. 

We were commissioned to give the layout and design a complete refresh, to improve the flow and functionality and to create specific work and waiting areas within the room. 

We tackled this initially by preparing a spacial plan laying out the new look reception. Four defined areas were created; a 'form filling' and paperwork area, a bespoke reception desk, a waiting area and a private seating space behind a screen for students needing to speak with staff. We screened off the internal floor to ceiling windows with frosted film and replaced the dark inky blue carpet with a fresh, contemporary grey which really lightens up and opens out the space. Finally, we designed bespoke 'Oxford centric' mural wallcoverings, incorporating iconic Oxford landmarks, architecture, poetry and museums.
