We've just designed a lovely contemporary French style Master Bedroom and en-suite bathroom for one of our clients, and delighted that they love it and it is now about to progress in full. Yippeee!!!
Double click on the images to get them nice and large.
I chose a gorgeous taupe/grey for the walls and our new Ziggurat wallpaper for the focal wall. A large French Rococo bed sits on a huge Ritva Puotila rug. Sleek and linear Habitat units feature either side with gold and black bedside lamps. A fab George Nelson Saucer Bubble lamp hangs low over the bed. In the corner, a black ball and claw foot bath with central telephone taps rests on a slate plinth with a huge French gilt mirror behind. A large black tallboy dresser balances the design on the other side of the window. Sliding doors painted the same colour as the wall, conceal a wardrobe next to the chimney breast.
The bathroom has a cantilevered black Corian countertop with a pair of basins over which a large gilt French mirror is hung. Philippe Starck's gorgeous aluminized K Tribe lamps sit either side, their silver adding to the glamour of the gold and black. A large walk-in shower clad in charcoal stone tiles fills the width of the room with rainwater shower and spot-lit niches in the wall. A Starck Edition 2 wall-hung loo sits next to a tall chrome towel radiator.
I love it and can't wait to see it finished. Let me know what you think!
